The only drawback is: the study has to do with ketamine. One group will receive nothing, another group will receive a normal therapeutic dose and another group will receive a high dose. The infusions will take 45 minutes each.
My guess is they're hoping to ask you to recall painful events as they infuse the ketamine. Ketamine is a dissociative drug and can cause amnesia. I think they're hoping to induce traumatic recall memory loss.
The very thought of taking a drug that induces temporary paralysis and possibly hallucinations straps my anxiety to rocket engine.
