Today would have been Reylene Skye aka Sexy Red aka My Heavy Metal Lover's 43rd birthday.

Rey was a huge fan of heavy metal but did not dress like one. She dressed more like a girly girl then like a metal fan. She usually wore tight red dresses or short skirts. She almost always wore red or colored her hair with red streaks *her hair was a natural raven black*. Before I left Winnipeg she gave me 2 red bandanas that I still have to this day. I carry them with me when I dance at pow wow so that I'll always be carrying a piece of her with me. sexy red dresses

I never knew a girl like her. When ever she came into a room you didn't have to see or hear her because you could feel the energy in those rooms change instantly. She was full of positive energy and would light up a room when ever she walked in.

Rey was never officially my girl friend but it's safe to say she was mire then just a friend. I won't call her a fuck buddy or friend with benufits because that woyld be disrespectful. We'll just say we did have ummm... *relations* with each other. I do have to say she is pretty much one of the best friends I've ever had.

Where ever you are Rey; know that I miss you and I think about you often. I'll always remember you for who you were. Winnipeg, well this world in general is not the same with out you. You made Winnipeg great for me.
