I made it home from the hospital! Still pregnant- baby has a good strong heartbeat and kicks. I've got a 3 inch incision above my belly button along with pain meds and medication to keep me from going into labor.

The next 3 months are going to be brutal. The surgeon said it could take a full month to heal, but no one knows how expanding baby bump is going to affect the healing process. Currently, I can't left more than 5 pounds and it's hurts so bad to bend. white colored ball items to wear of the wedding

As to what caused the hernia- apparently having 4 babies in 5 years causes your stomach muscles to stretch and weaken and lifting kids makes you more susceptible to tissues being displaced into areas it's not supposed to be in.
